Asalaamu alykum,
On behave of the organizing team we are very sorry and sad to inform you that Sheik Abduraheem Green will not be able to attend the MSA event THE CALL TO ISLAM 1st and 2nd July. Therefore, please inform your non-Muslim friends who suppose to attend this event.
The organizing team is pleased to inform you that this event will be rescheduled for another better practical date and time this year of 2009 Inshallah. We will inform you soon. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience.
Hope to see you and your non-Muslim friends joining us.

The following e-mail message sent by Sheik Green to MSA as it is.
“As salam alaikum Aezeden,
and my dear brothers and sisters in Winnipeg.
I have been looking foreword so much to joining you all in Winnipeg for the lectures and dawa training. When we planning at iERA a world tour Winnipeg was high on the list due to your proven enthusiasm and energy for Allah's deen and calling to the goodness that is Islam. We had to cancel several proposed stops but Winnipeg stayed. However sometimes we plan certain things and Allah has other plans.
As I was washing clothes and preparing for the trip we noticed that our daughter was suddenly covered in spots and recognized the beginnings of chickenpox. Although we haven't been to the doctor yet (it was Sunday) it looks very familiar since my eldest kids have all had it. Then I realized straight away that this would mean having to cancel my trip, since the virus will spread to the two younger children and all of them will need constant attention. My wife has no support other than myself and my elder children, but that is only when they get back from school. Due to this my Islamic duty is to stay and care for my family. I am doing my best to find a replacement, but this is going too hard at such short notice.
We ask Allah to help us all and make easy for us any difficulties, and forgive us our sins. Ameen.
